Google Meet, the video conferencing service by Google, will be soon integrated on the Gmail app for Android and iOS. The development was announced on Tuesday, nearly a month after the company integrated Google Meet tab into the Gmail Web client. The Meet tab on the Gmail app, much like the Web version, will allow users to join or start a Meet call. Users will also be able to see upcoming Meet calls as well as have the option to schedule one with Google Calendar. Notably, Google Meet over the last few weeks has received a host of upgrades, as more people are staying indoors and spending time online amid the coronavirus pandemic.
